CONDATE RECORDS SIGNS KERRANG WINNERS THIS IS TURIN

Condate Records are pleased to announce the latest addition to their roster by welcoming THIS IS TURIN to the family.

Formed in 2008, Cheshire based THIS IS TURIN have already laid down strong foundations for their future within the UK extreme metal scene.  A series of mini tours and festival appearances across the UK has seen them supporting bands such as The Red Chord, Sworn Enemy, Haste the Day, Sylosis, Ted Maul, Slade and Chesney Hawkes!

The band have also racked up accolades included winning ‘Post-mortem Manchester’ a competition to find Manchester’s finest unsigned metal act as well as winning the Kerrang! Radio/MCN Unsigned competition.

In a time where extreme music has becomes increasingly saturated with sub-genres and clichéd scenes, THIS IS TURIN have focused on what is essential for the future of extreme music and that is not only to push the abilities of their performance but their ability to create innovative music with a purpose. Theirs is an expression and passion that has been forged through years of dedication and development to produce a sound that holds raw emotion with a furious undercurrent of feeling that has the capability to transform from relentless aggression and tragedy to prosperity and hope.

Condate Records label boss, Ben Whitfield commented: “We are proper chuffed to welcome THIS IS TURIN into the fold. Signing THIS IS TURIN is a major step forward for Condate Records, their music, attitude; work ethic and belief are mirrored in our own. We are looking forward to working with them and hopefully helping them get the recognition they deserve.”

THIS IS TURIN are currently working on their debut album which will be released through Condate Records in the new year.
